Although I was born in the UK - I am very lucky to now be living in the TRNC - that is the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for those who have not heard of it, where I came to 'retire'. However, that was not to be, as I have now carved out a niche for myself as a busy working artist, doing portraits and of course painting the fantastic scenery that surrounds me on this beautiful little island. I taught art for 25yrs in the UK and rarely found the time to paint for the sheer joy of it, but that has all changed now, as I enter my second age, I can indulge my passion and develope my style to my heart's content and I am loving it!! I sell my prints to the tourists through the local markets that are held every week and they are very happy to be able to buy a memory of places they have seen on their holiday. I make people happy with my work and that is what life is all about for me.
